Knock Knock

Chanced upon this little cute cafe in Melbourne when we walked back to our hotel one day. Decided to have our brunch there on the last day before we leave Melbourne. I ordered poached eggs with sour dough and eva ordered a knock knock big breakfast. Food was pretty good and I really love the dark chocolate spoon that i ordered! It was so good hehe! Guess i just can't say no to chocolate :p

Throwback #3

Just had my 1st paper yesterday and i don't really know what to say about it. First half of the paper was so easy that i can't believe i spent so much time memorizing on that part. But the 2nd part of the paper was extremely hard that i kind of afraid that i can't pass this module T.T

Ok, i got really bored with the mugging so i decided to blog! Hehe! 

I still remember the days i met up with my friendsss before i came here, everyone was treating me like i'm gonna be away for 3 years, lol! Even my parents asked that why am i so busy meeting with everyone, after all it's just 4 months! Anyway, i meet up with my bff joanne, and the 2 lovely girls, zixuan and wanxi who i haven meet for ages! We knew each other since secondary school but i didn't get to meet zixuan and wanxi so often since we graduated. We decided to have our little catch up session at P.S.Cafe, Paragon as i was dying to try their truffle fries, hehe!

We took really long to decide what to order as everything seems appealing to us, lol! Pardon me for the bad quality of the picture, haha! We ordered P.S.Caesar salad, house bolognese and the truffle shoestring fries to share. The portion of the truffle fries was so BIGGG but it was so good that we just can't stop eating! Besides the truffle fries, i love their house bolognese too! It was really good! :)

We were busy updating each other and talk for really long until the cafe closed. Took so many pictures afterwards and we got a little bit crazy by the photo-taking app in my phone. We actually asked one of the staff there to help us take a group shot outside the cafe but apparently he failed at it! So i told the girls that we can take our own pictures using the app in my phone. It's something like a timer thingy that you can set the timing you like and get ready for the pictures! We tried so many ways to get a perfect shot like finding the places to put my phone, good lighting spot and etc, lol!

Ahhh..i miss the girls so much, can't wait to be back and see them again! :D

Throwback #2

In case you are wondering why am I doing a throwback, read here! :p Today's throwback will be the b'day surprise back in 2011 that Afrans did for me when we were rushing our fyp that time. Maybe i should just talk about Afrans for a bit, lol! Afrans is our fyp team's name and it was formed by a letter from each of our names. A is for Anelie, f is for Fish, r is for Rongrong, a again is for Aisyah, n is for Nerissa and lastly s is for me, ShinPuay! :)

Initially i was not in their group but with pl and wj, but 3 ppl is just quite impossible to form a team as the workload is real heavy (no kidding). So, we got separated and join the other groups. I'm so grateful that they accepted me as their new member and tbh i was quite scared when i first joining their group. I barely know them except Aisyah as we were in the same class the previous year. I felt really awkward to be in the group and somehow they look really scary at the beginning especially Anelie, haha! I still remember the 1st thing she said to me was "what do you think you can do for our group?" That was during our 1st meeting. And i was like..errr...don't know what to say, lol! But somehow we managed to click very very well and i was really really glad that i did my fyp with this bunch of people. Our relationship become super close as we meet each other so often to do our fyp, and i actually got my 1st part time job in Peperoni thanks to Anelie! So, i think i'm like meeting Anelie almost everyday coz we work together in Peperoni, hahaha!

Anyway, these pics were taken in Nerissa's place when we were rushing for our fyp. I didn't expect them to celebrate for my b'day and i was so so so surprised when i saw them with the cake, lol! They actually discussed very long for the choice of cake as they can't decide which flavor to get for me. Obviously they did a wrong choice by buying a strawberry cake! HAHAHAHA!

Someone was trying to burn my hair with the lighter! Please ignore my silly bangs, lol! And i have no idea why am i laughing like an idiot - - 

Really thankful to have them as my group mates and i am pretty sure our relationship and teamwork is the best among the other groups, even the lecturers were surprised by the strong bond between us, lol! We had so much fun during the process of fyp and of course we did face many obstacles and having a hard time when the deadline is near. It was not easy but we have pulled through and come out with the pretty awesome work in the end. It was a really wonderful journey with all of them and i can't really express how grateful am i to be able to work with them! Perhaps I will do more throwback posts about Afrans in the future! :)

Throwback #1

I was trying to clear some unwanted files in my computer yesterday and end up looking through all the old pictures that i saved in my computer. Feel so nostalgia just by browsing through all the old photos so i decided to do some throwback posts here, lol!

Throwback #1- My convent girls :)

These 4 girls are my BEST friends during secondary school. How i miss the time we  skipped our lessons and meet at the secret place (apparently it's some classroom that nobody used all the time). We did so many stupid things together and always try to sneak out of the school. I still remember the day we went to the mall near our school before our lesson and nearly can't come back to school due to the super heavy rain. Fyi, our school always flood whenever there's rain. And the rain on that day is no joke, the cab stopped at somewhere near the school and we have to walk under the rain. AND I FELL INTO A BIG LONGKANG just in front of the school gate, wth! 

Took these photos on the last week of our school and the last photo is so hilarious coz yx fell down for god's sake dunno what reason! We laughed so hard at her and nobody actually want to help her up HAHAHAHA wth XD

On a side note, maybe i can label this post as 'whatpubertydidtous'? Haha!
