Mu Parlour

I did some review online before visiting Mu Parlour and apparently their burger is highly recommended. We ordered a Mu Platter to share, it comes with 2 burgers (any choices), a side of salad, buffalo wings and garlic fries. For the burger, we had No.1 (Beef, Monterey Jack, Streaky Bacon, Gherkin) and No.11 (Beef, Avocado, Streaky Bacon, Mu Secret Sauce). I personally thought that No.11 is a must try and it's way better than No.1..hehe! Must be the avocado and the Mu secret sauce. The beef patty is generously spread with mashed avocado and it just taste heavenly with the melted cheese and their secret sauce..omg!  On a side note, i have become a fan of avocado ever since i came back from Aussie..hahaha! The wings and fries are quite decent as well. Consider the price of the burger is $15+ each, I really think the platter is such a good deal because it comes with 2 sides and it's only priced at $38!!

Mu Parlour is located at 2nd level and we almost missed the entrance because the signboard is a little bit too small imo, lol! The place is not really crowded that night and i love that their tables are not too close to each other so that we can have some privacy while talking with our friends. And also we got to sit by the full glass window which is pretty nice though there isn't any nice view outside, lol!! Overall we had a good time there as the food and service is relatively good, will definitely go back for their dessert next time :)

Potato Head Folk

Another cafe checked off my bucket list with my officially cafe-hopping buddy, haha! I forced her to go explore this cafe with me long time ago as I heard the baby huey burger is very nice! Well, we kinda postponed our visit to this cafe because the food is quite pricey. We reached there around 7.30pm and were told that the air-conditioned area was full, the girl then told us that we can sit at the rooftop bar. We climbed the stairs up to the highest level then only found out that it was full also = = So we decided to leave our names down and have them call us when there's available seats.

We were lucky enough to get the table within half an hour and the place was still super crowded. We ordered a baby huey burger and a D.O.Double G bun to share. For the sides, we can't decide between the naughty fries and wings it, I heard that these 2 are good but obviously we couldn't order so much with just 2 of us XD We almost order the wings it as Anelie can't really take spicy food but the service crew offered to separate the hot sauce and topping for us when she knew about this. Yeay, thumbs up to their good service! For the drinks, we ordered a cider and japanese beer, I personally thought that the beer and cider here is quite expensive.

Our naughty fries were so different from the others coz we have the toppings aside, we were like WOW when the fries were served. They really put all the topping separately in different small container, so cute right!! The naughty fries are made of thick hand-cut potatoes and im glad that it was not those soggy type. The toppings include spiced bernaise, minced beef, hot chilli, crispy shallots, parmesan, etc. The fries were really really good, we just couldn't stop eating, enough said. THE BABY HUEY IS REALLY DAMN NICE!!! The burger was a bit cold when we started eating (see lah, wasted so much time to take pictures!! XD) but it still taste amazing nonetheless! The burger was so juicy and saucy with their homemade TOM sauce. Oh and the pickles was damn nice too! Fyi, I dislike pickles so this must be damn good for me to finish the whole burger without the need to pick out anything! Frankly speaking, the burger is quite small but still worth a try! The D.O.Double G was not bad too but I still prefer baby huey, hehe!

I must say that I love the interior so much! Walls are painted with different drawings like flowers, animals, children and so on! The decoration somehow add a lively atmosphere to the place and it's definitely instagram worthy, lol! Though the food is a bit pricey (we paid $45 each) but it's a really nice place to chill with your friends and plus the nice food, I thought it's really worth to visit if you have some cash to spare, hehe! #goonpaydaylol
